After graduating from college in 2010 I moved to Italy and became an English teacher near Venice. This was not part of the plan but, as there was no plan at that point, it worked. I had some really great experiences and loved living there. I started planning my life as a teacher and considered the eventuality of starting my own school. Then, unexpectedly, I was admitted to medical school in Milan in May of 2011, changing my plans again. (Un?)fortunately that little adventure was short-lived and so I returned to the United States dejected, hoping to find another way into medicine. In the spring of 2012 I was admitted to medical school (again) and chose to start fresh in Galway, Ireland where I now reside and study. I'm adjusting to a new climate (with little success), a new culture, new food, new people, and the daunting road before me that is medical school. Let the hilarity and introspection begin (continue?).

I’m moving!

In a bid to become a “serious” blogger with “deep” thoughts and a desire to “better my creative writing” I’m switching to Wordpress. My new address is: iosonochesi.wordpress.com

I’ll try to come back here every once in a while to check on you guys, but I’m not sure yet whether I’ll go through the bother of update this blog. We’ll see. It’s been nice knowing you.
